Our Story

Since 1957, the Thermal Brand has been serving the HVAC Service and Equipment needs of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. At Thermal we work together to understand the needs of our customers to allow us to exceed the expectations on a daily basis. Our customers have always demanded that we be experts in HVAC equipment and service. Our GOAL has always been to be just that, experts in the needs of our customers.

Created as Kentucky Univent in 1957, the company changed names and became part of the Thermal Brand in 1962. With the ownership changing hands from Bill Bradford & Herb Spencer to Dan Adams & Paul Mattingly II in 1999 and the addition of Jeremy Ray & Damon Johnson in 2013 the Thermal Service brand has grown from 10 employees to 100+ today. With the start of 2022, the company ownership changed to CSUSA. Today we are the same Thermal Service brand that you have always know and trusted.

Previous owner Jeremy Ray serves as the companies President today and still brings the desire and drive to the company that is still focused on growth and exceeding customer expectations daily.

Today, the Thermal Service brand is a full-service commercial and industrial HVAC company. We employee a team of 70+ skilled and licensed technicians to serve Kentucky and the surrounding areas. Since our start in 1957 Thermal has continued to meet and exceeded the needs of our customers. From parts and service to replacement equipment, installs and preventative maintenance and rental equipment.

Thermal Service is well equipped to meet any of our customers HVAC needs. We take care of some of the largest names in business today, from Toyota, UK, EKU, Morehead State, Baptist Health to all the needs of ARH’s 16 hospitals in Eastern Kentucky.
